Our client, a leading independent electrical and mechanical contractor, is seeking an experienced Electrical Contract Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established company delivering M&E services across commercial, industrial, and domestic sectors, including local authorities, universities, and schools.
About the Role
As an Electrical Contract Manager, you will play a key role in managing multiple electrical projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and commercial awareness to maintain the company's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure health & safety compliance across all projects.
- Manage budgets, cost control, and financial reporting for contracts.
- Lead and support project teams, including engineers and site staff.
- Ensure all work meets industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in tendering, estimating, and pricing for new projects.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in electrical contract management or a similar role.
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 18th Edition, or equivalent).
- Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple contracts.
- Knowledge of M&E services and industry regulations.
- Commercial awareness with experience in budgeting and cost control.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Full UK driving license.
