As a Buyer you will join our dynamic team and help us continue to grow and deliver amazing products. You will play a crucial role in sourcing and curating our Boyswear collection, working closely with suppliers, designers, and other teams to ensure we have the right mix of products that meets our customer’s needs, while maximising profitability and staying ahead of industry trends.
Who you are?
- Previous experience as a Buyer, preferably in the Childrenswear or fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of children’s fashion trends, sizing, and consumer behaviour.
- Excellent negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in sales reporting and data interpretation.
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for children’s fashion and a keen eye for quality and design.
What you’ll be doing?
- Curate and manage the assortment of Childrenswear, ensuring it aligns with our brand’s identity, target market, and seasonal strategy.
- Stay on top of fashion trends and customer preferences, translating these insights into purchasing decisions.
- Monitor stock levels, manage reorders, and ensure the timely flow of merchandise to meet demand.
- Ensure buying decisions are made within allocated budgets and contribute to overall profit margins.
- Identify and build relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, high-quality products, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Design, Product Development and Marketing teams to ensure product offerings are aligned with marketing strategies and key initiatives.
- Analyse sales reports, customer feedback, and market trends to adjust purchasing strategies and optimize product offerings.
