An exciting opportunity exists for a confident, dynamic and motivated person with outstanding ICT knowledge and experience, a flair for communication and the ability to support and encourage others in the use of ICT systems and business processes. Working closely with the Business Support Managers and Officers, you will be part of a small team of BSSOs who will be involved in developing and delivering solutions (including MS Power Platform) across the Authority as and when required, as well as providing day-to-day proactive support to users.

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential in order to effectively build and maintain relationships with individuals and teams at all levels, plus the ability to deliver training through a variety of different methods and produce user guides if required. You should have good analytical and positive problem-solving skills and be willing to have involvement in the testing of new functionality and system developments from a user perspective.

You are required to be flexible, have the ability to work independently and able to work under pressure and effectively prioritise deadlines, whilst maintaining confidentiality. Post location is flexible, and you will work in a hybrid manner but will be required to travel regularly to various locations across the county, providing support and cover as required. For this purpose, own transport will be required for which business mileage rate is paid and Authorised Car User status is applied.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated.
