Your Role & Responsibilities
- Technical Strategy & Execution - Own end-to-end platform architecture, integrating low-code tools (Webflow, Xano) with AI-driven automation. Balance speed and scalability, ensuring we leverage low-code while developing proprietary, defensible tech. Partner with leadership to align technology investments with financial outcomes, building cost-effective and revenue-driving solutions. Optimize search and data retrieval using Algolia and other intelligent search tools. Work closely with cooperative associations and procurement professionals to ensure our platform meets industry needs.
- Hands-On Development & AI Integration - Be a hands-on leader, comfortable writing code while also mentoring engineers and hiring freelancers where needed. Implement AI-driven features to automate procurement processes and enhance user experience. Ensure seamless API integrations, optimizing third-party services while maintaining platform flexibility.
- Team Leadership & Hiring - Recruit, mentor, and lead adaptable product engineers who thrive in a low-code/high-impact environment. Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and learning. Collaborate with freelancers and agencies to scale engineering efforts without overcommitting internal resources.
- Product & Business Alignment - Tie technical decisions to business impact, ensuring every investment drives measurable financial benefits. Translate business needs into scalable, modular solutions that evolve with our users. Develop best practices for security, performance, and reliability in a lean, fast-moving startup.
