Our client based in north-east London is looking for a Consultant who specialises in Clinical Oncology to join their team. This is a substantive post and the successful candidate will join a team of 12 Oncologists supported by 3 Specialty Doctors & 4 clinical Oncology SPRs. They will be expected to cover Urology and CNS malignancies and work as an integrated member of the Oncology team. This department serves a population of approximately 750,000.
The Radiotherapy department boasts cutting edge technology with a Halcyon Unit, a stereotactic enabled Edge and they now offer our patients adaptive radiotherapy via an ETHOS unit. All treatments are image guided.
Minimum Requirements:- Full GMC Registration with License to Practice (ESSENTIAL)
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or within six months of interview.
- FRCR (Clinical Oncology)
- Expertise in site specialty field
- Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team of Surgeons, Medics, Allied Health professionals and Nurses
- Ability to contribute to effective multi-disciplinary team working within the acute Trust
- Ability to respond and cope with setbacks and pressure
