Full-time Accounts Assistant role for a small company in Richmond, North Yorkshire. The Role As an Accounts Assistant, you will handle a mix of transactional accounting and administrative tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include:Processing Purchase Invoices: Handling 60-100 invoices weekly for both project costs and overheads (including nominal coding and inputting).Sales Invoicing: Raising accurate invoices for clients.Payroll Support: Experience in weekly payroll for 30-50 staff is an advantage (training provided). Tasks include processing timesheets, dealing with SSP, holiday pay, mileage, and bonuses.You’ll also assist with basic office duties such as ordering supplies, uniform, maintaining stock levels and handling telephone enquiries.This role is flexible, catering to:Candidates who prefer a steady transactional accounting position with light administrative duties.Ambitious Accounts Assistants seeking career progression and a more varied role, with potential to take on management accounts responsibilities as part of a succession plan.The hours of work are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.00pm on a Friday.
