Job Description

Do you thrive on overcoming challenges and delivering creative solutions? Are you passionate about shaping the future of transport in the UK and beyond? At Arcadis, we are global leaders in using cutting-edge technology to tackle complex transport issues, from design and implementation to operational solutions. We are currently expanding our team of consultants in the UK and are looking for detail-oriented, logical thinkers who can analyse intricate transport challenges, develop technology-driven solutions, and communicate them effectively with colleagues and clients.

We offer a hybrid work model for this position, allowing our professionals the flexibility to work from both home and one of our offices located in Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, or Manchester.

As part of our global Intelligence business area, we leverage digital intelligence and human insight to create holistic solutions for our clients. By combining agile, data-driven insights with our expertise in sustainable design, engineering, and advisory services, we tackle global challenges such as climate change, rapid urbanization, and increasing digitalisation. Our goal is to enhance quality of life through innovative, future-focused solutions.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting Arcadis expanding portfolio within the transport sector. You will be involved in all stages of project delivery, including research, strategy development, data analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation. Additionally, you will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure project success.

Beyond project work, the candidate will contribute to business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities and assisting with bid preparation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience, ideally in transport operations, transport technology systems, or data use in transport
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team, including managing and supporting colleagues
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, planning, and organizational skills
