A leading midsize consumer PR agency specialising in travel and hospitality PR is seeking a passionate and motivated Junior Account Manager to join their fantastic team. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Account Executive ready for a step up or an already established JAM to take on a new challenge.
Specialising in delivering top-tier PR services to an exciting mix of clients in the travel and hospitality sector, you will be working on a diverse mix of clients including luxury 5-star hotels, Michelin-star restaurants, indulgent spas and trendy bars. This agency is also renowned for its exceptional team culture and flexible working environment with 2 days in the office and 3 days at home.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and executing PR campaigns for the agency\’s prestigious clients, fostering media relationships, and delivering impactful results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of innovative PR strategies and campaigns for travel and hospitality clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and key industry stakeholders.
- Write and distribute press releases, pitches, and other PR materials.
- Monitor media coverage and create comprehensive reports for clients.
- Support senior team members with client management and account administration.
- Organize and attend client events, press trips, and other promotional activities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and identify new PR opportunities.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in PR, ideally within the travel and hospitality sector.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain media relationships.
- A creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas and solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a passion for the travel and hospitality industry.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
