Marine Operations & Logistics Specialist – Offshore Wind

Location: London (with substantial WFH)

Contract Length: 12 Months (Potential Extension)

Excellent Day Rate – Ltd Company, Outside IR35

Are you an experienced Marine Specialist with a strong background in offshore construction, vessel coordination, and logistics? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major offshore wind project on a long-term contract, offering an outstanding day rate on an outside IR35 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee marine operations for offshore wind farm construction
  • Manage vessel coordination, logistics, and personnel transport
  • Ensure compliance with marine regulations and offshore safety standards
  • Support the installation of wind turbines, subsea cables, and foundations
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement HSE best practices
  • Work closely with engineers, project managers, and contractors

What You Need:

  • Offshore wind or offshore oil & gas experience (oil & gas transition welcomed!)
  • Strong background in marine logistics, vessel operations, or offshore construction
  • Relevant marine and offshore safety certifications, such as:
  • GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) or BOSIET
  • STCW Certification (if vessel-based)
  • ENG1 Seafarer Medical Certificate
  • Knowledge of marine regulations, weather planning, and risk management
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
