Our Support Workers play a vital role in providing compassionate care and assistance to individuals in need, and we are currently recruiting for a number of clients within Norfolk, for lovely Residential/Nursing Homes and Supported living services. This position is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for clients by supporting their daily activities and ensuring their well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate empathy and patience in all interactions. This position offers you the opportunity to work alongside a passionate team who are all dedicated to care.
Duties
- Support clients with personal care, mobility and transfers as needed.
- Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Engage with many activities and go out into the community.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' overall well-being.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
Skills
- Proficiency in patient care practices, demonstrating compassion and respect for clients.
- Experience preferred but not essential as training is provided for the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
