A well-established law firm with offices across North and South Devon is looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor with 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in private client law to take on a varied and rewarding caseload. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a varied and complex caseload of private client matters, including wills, probate, trusts, estate administration, and lasting powers of attorney.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on matters relating to inheritance tax, estate planning, and trusts.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Administer estates, including liaising with executors, beneficiaries, and HMRC.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional client service and clear, understandable legal advice.
  • Mentor and support more junior members of the team, sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative working environment.
  • Contribute to the firm’s business development efforts, including networking, client referrals, and marketing initiatives.
