We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for a Western Distribution Centre in Bristol.
About:
An established market leader in its field within the Automotive industry. Following an increase in business, a new and exciting position has arisen within our Operations Department.
Salary: £26,712.00 per annum plus Over Time, Pension, DIS Benefit, Health Insurance Scheme
Hours of Work: 41.25 hours per week
Holiday: 22 days plus Bank Holidays, increasing with Length of Service from 3 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload a distribution van as applicable.
- Deliver glass to customers' premises and sites as required.
- Be a professional and well-presented front-line representative of the company.
- Undertake warehouse duties if no deliveries have been planned.
- Accurately locate, identify, pick and load parts onto vans as required.
- Ensure all glass is loaded safely onto the works van and all relevant paperwork is completed before setting off on a 'run'.
- Work out the most economical routes and plan delivery runs efficiently.
- Ensure all vehicle safety checks are carried out as per procedure.
- Check emails and ensure the most up-to-date requests are met.
- Undertake all training as required by the company.
- Perform any other additional duties as assigned by supervisors, managers, senior managers, and directors.

A Full valid manual driving license with at least 3 years driving experience is required, and having a valid forklift license is desirable; however, training can be provided if necessary. Due to insurance reasons, you will need to be over the age of 21 to be eligible for this role.
Schedule: 8 hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday, Weekend availability.
