An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Scientist to join a nationally renowned Data Science and Data Development Team as part of the recently revamped Data & Analytics function. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a diverse and inclusive team that utilises the latest data technology to create insight and solve business problems. Candidates who display exceptional competencies in collaborative, multi-disciplinary working and strong leadership characteristics will be considered alongside technical competencies in machine learning, artificial intelligence and natural language processing.

The Data Scientist role will support the Data Science Manager and the Data Development Team managers in delivering a nationally renowned data function. The role will be responsible for delivering high quality, novel and innovative data science solutions and taking advantage of the organisation’s high-quality data assets. You will experiment, develop, communicate, and deploy solutions and insights to drive improvements in patient care, operational efficiency, research, and healthcare outcomes. The role is multi-disciplinary by nature and there is an expectation that successful candidates will be collaborative, innovative and display strong inclusive leadership characteristics.
