THE ROLE
The British Growth Partnership (BGP) builds on the Bank's existing activities to bring to market a new investment vehicle aimed at attracting pension fund capital to invest in growth assets. A key aspect of the delivery of BGP is the establishment of Patient Capital Advisory Services (PCAS) which is seeking permission from the FCA to act as regulated investment adviser. As the Senior Manager, Data and Research, you will oversee and enhance the Bank's approach to investor due diligence, and ensure that BGP benefits from high-quality market and performance data to support its strategic decision-making. This will include focusing on maintaining robust oversight of external due diligence processes, analysing market trends, and providing performance insights to inform future mandate development and overall portfolio strategy.
With an excellent understanding of UK and global private markets, including venture capital, growth equity, and key macroeconomic and policy trends, you will have knowledge of investment due diligence processes and have expertise in data collection, validation, and analytics to drive performance insights and strategic recommendations. Experience preparing and presenting high-quality reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders, boards, or committees is also required.
