Warehouse Operatives - Reading

We are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives for our well-established client in the Reading RG2 postcode area. Are you looking for a role which can offer progression with fantastic training and career opportunities?

Job Title: Warehouse Operative – Parcel Sorting
Location: Reading RG2, Berkshire
Pay Rate: £11.44
Hours: 00:30 – 09:00

Please note: This role is full-time hours only and is night shift work.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

1. Customers\’ parcels are unloaded from vehicles
2. Sorting parcels
3. Loading and unloading of trailers
4. Cage and pallet work
5. Scanning barcodes using handheld scanners
6. Ensure goods and equipment are maintained to high standards
7. Always adhere to health and safety standards

Skills Required

1. Able to follow instructions
2. Team player and works well with others
3. Physically fit to meet heavy lifting of goods
4. Effective communication
5. Organisational skills
6. Being fully flexible to work based on availability

Application Requirements:

1. Proof of Right to work – Passport or Birth Certificate or Online RTW check
2. Proof of Address dated in the last 3 months – Utility Bill
3. Proof of National Insurance – NI Card, payslip or P60/P45
4. 2 Years referencing details (Blue Arrow will apply for these)
