- An experienced systems engineer with solid systems administration and scripting skills.
- Demonstrable experience of administration and support for Windows Server technologies, VMWare, NSX, Dell VxRail, IDPA, SAN infrastructure, Active Directory, Avamar, PowerShell, Qualys, Sophos, SCOM and Dell RecoverPoint.
- Deep technical knowledge of VMWare technologies.
- In-depth experience in network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP, NFS, SMB).
- In-depth practical experience supporting Windows and Linux operating systems in an enterprise environment.
- Experience of SQL and Oracle and clustering services.
- Experience of performing and analyzing network traces.
- An understanding of information security best practice, and associated security principles and regulations.
- Experience of working with offshore teams and third-party suppliers when performing support and maintenance activity and in resolving issues.
