As our Finance Business Partner for Logistics, you'll be at the heart of our supply chain, managing a significant £65m distribution and warehouse spend. Collaborate with the Customer Service and Logistics Director, the Logistics team, and our 3rd Party Distribution provider to drive cost control and savings initiatives. You will also lead the inventory stock management process, ensuring alignment with statutory guidance and Japanese SOX controls and work collaboratively with Commercial and Revenue Growth management teams to drive efficiencies through logistics to improve Business performance.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
- Business Partnering and Reporting: Provide Finance business partnering support to the Supply Chain Distribution and Warehouse function. Responsible for the month-end close activities and forward-looking forecasts. Lead the annual Budget process for Logistics. Lead the reporting and management of key Finance logistics KPI's (internal and External). Maintain and deliver against other Internal Control and JSOX requirements for Logistics and Inventory management. Work with the Customer Service and Logistics function to feed into Business reviews with 3rd Party Distribution provider.
- Process Improvements and Operational Efficiency: Critically review all Logistics processes with an ambition to drive automation and control improvements. Work with GB & I business to provide solutions for complex issues balancing risk and benefit for business performance. Support the SC Finance Director and SBFE central SC finance team in delivering the SBFE BPO projects and transformation. Identify new opportunities to deliver efficiency and cost-saving initiatives for Supply Chain and business partner the Fuel for Growth transformation lead helping drive £5-6m of savings annually.
