Build relationships that make a difference
You will be responsible for structuring and winning key long-term enterprise deals in the fertilizer market with Baker Hughes\’ Industrial Solutions portfolio. Creating a sustainable recurring revenue business of process optimization and APM applications with a partnership mindset. You will partner with account managers to influence all suppliers including, but not limited to EPCs, MACs, and OEMs through early engagement with project teams for the sale of products, services, and total system solutions.
As a Process Optimization Sales Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Creating full scope plant asset management solutions for North America Enterprise Accounts while also coordinating and supporting globally related account strategy development.
- Creating and driving strategies that position Industrial Solutions as the provider of choice or partner to achieve value as defined in partnership with Industrial Solutions and the end user.
- Building the Enterprise Vision with the accounts to support the sales team to meet orders goals for the region and by market segment.
- Providing technical expertise to Sales and Commercial Operations in selecting, implementing, and developing competitive product applications and solutions.
- Providing coaching and technical support to the Region Managers and Sales Managers.
- Providing guidance and support throughout the selling process to Sales and Commercial Operations from prospecting to closure.
- Coordinating with the sales force to make customer calls and presentations and participate in bid meetings with the customer as necessary.
- Assessing competitive system performance and hardware evaluation throughout the entire bid process.
- Supporting regional Sales Managers in responding to various technical questions regarding products and systems solutions when necessary.
- Collaborating closely with OTR teams to ensure the deliverables are met and to resolve customer challenges.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have BSc. from an accredited university or college.
- Have very good sales experience in an industrial market space (fertilizer and Petchem) including OEM customers.
- Have very good commercial skills relevant to different stakeholder levels at site and HQ levels.
- Have business acumen to structure unique enterprise deals to match different key account needs.
- Have understanding of the fertilizer market, operations and processes of the fertilizer industry.
- Be able to apply strategic selling skills and communicate financial returns of investment to key decision makers.
- Have in-depth knowledge of the industrial applications for product lines and markets.
- Be a good communicator and be fluent in English – written and verbally.
- Be able to travel for business up to 50% of the time, as required.
