Salary: 50,000 to 60,000 + Car allowance + package

The Company: Our client is a successful residential and commercial main contractor with an established reputation within the South Wales market and beyond. Typical projects within the residential sector include apartments and housing, as well as commercial sectors on both new build and refurbishment.

The Role: A fantastic career opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to work on a residential new build project in the Swansea area. You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day design and build on a project, reporting to a Contracts Manager. The role will involve:

  • Day-to-day delivery of site operations
  • Programming
  • Quality checks
  • Subcontractor management

The project will be a medium-scale residential project consisting of a variety of houses, circa 70 units.

The Person: You will have:

  • Solid experience with a residential main contractor
  • Commutable daily to Swansea
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering residential (houses) projects within budget and programme
  • Good IT skills, able to use a variety of systems
  • Experience in creating and working to 2-3 week programmes
  • Experience delivering at least 30 units at one time in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience in managing simultaneous site-based trades teams and direct workforce
  • Innovative - ability to identify better ways of doing things
  • A high calibre individual who is committed to quality and programme
  • A good team player, someone who wants to be part of a growing business to achieve common goals
