I am supporting a fast-growing Green-Tech client who are looking to bring in a Head of DevOps to play an integral part in creating a platform roadmap.

Role Responsibilities/Required Experience:
- Be responsible for maintaining and developing an Agile approach to systems delivery; ensuring work estimation is accurate for predictable system roadmap delivery during release cycles.
- Refine the Software Development Lifecycle execution and enhance the development process efficiencies in the back-of-house system, whilst leading Agile transformations and infrastructure as code implementation.
- Ensuring teams have a baseline set of skills and competencies through tailored training, as well as encouraging a collaborative working culture.
- Report to the Founder on progress against active projects and highlight any areas of risk against project timelines that may affect the ability to deliver the product roadmaps.
- Advocate Agile development practices within the engineering function and refining processes in collaboration with peer groups.
- Demonstrable technical experience within an AWS stack software engineering environment.
- A proven people manager, managing a software development team, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of skilled engineers.
- Awareness of SRE practices.
