Senior Product Designer

• London Bridge (2-3 days onsite)
• £70K-£80K + Equity

A FinTech start-up is looking for a Senior Designer to join their team. You will be their founding product designer and you'll have a significant impact as they go from 0 to 1 and beyond.

What You Will Be Doing

• Create user journeys and interfaces that simplify complex workflows into intuitive, actionable steps.
• Design with trust in mind, ensuring algorithm-driven recommendations are clear, transparent, and easy to understand.
• Rapidly prototype concepts and iterate based on feedback to minimise risk and optimise the user experience.
• Work closely with product and engineering as a tight-knit trio to explore solutions, validate ideas, and ensure designs are both technically feasible and address real customer needs.
• Support discovery work by engaging directly with users through interviews, usability tests, and workshops.
• Develop visually cohesive and scalable design systems to ensure consistency across the platform.
• Establish foundational design practices, including component libraries and collaborative workflows.
• Contribute to product strategy discussions and decisions, bringing a user-centred perspective to key decisions.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of experience as a Product or UX Designer.
• Worked on B2B SaaS products.
• Worked at an early stage company and can operate in a scrappy environment.
• Cares more about solving a problem than the look of the design.
• Hands-on experience with data-driven design, user research, rapid prototyping, and iterative processes to optimise user journeys.
• Track record of delivering high-quality, developer-friendly designs in a fast-paced environment.
• A customer-centric perspective, prioritising user and business needs to ensure your design work has measurable outcomes that deliver value.
