The Opportunity
Are you a highly skilled Solution Architect, with expertise in hybrid cloud solutions and VMware technologies? If so, joining our Cloud Business Development & Alliances team at Nutanix would provide you with the opportunity to enable our channel partners to build successful cloud practices around Nutanix NC2 on AWS. You will play a crucial role in providing technical guidance, support, and training to ensure our partners can effectively deploy, manage, and optimize Nutanix solutions in a cloud environment.
About the Team
In the Strategic Business Development team at Nutanix, you will be joining a group of 9 dedicated individuals spread across different locations globally. Our team culture is defined by being hungry, humble, honest with heart. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Business Development, Cloud and Databases. This role is fully remote, with no requirement to go into the office. However, there may be occasional team gatherings or events where in-person participation may be required. The travel requirements for this role are approximately 25%, which will involve visiting customers, attending conferences, and other business-related travel activities.
Your Role
- Enable channel partners to build successful cloud practices around Nutanix NC2 on AWS
- Provide technical guidance and support to partners
- Deliver technical training, customer presentations, and demos
- Ensure partners can effectively deploy, manage, and optimize Nutanix solutions in a cloud environment
- Design and implement hybrid cloud architectures
- Develop migration strategies for customers transitioning to Nutanix NC2 on AWS
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Nutanix NC2 and AWS services
- Create collateral, technical documentation, and case studies highlighting the benefits of Nutanix NC2
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5 years of hands-on experience in systems engineering or similar role focusing on cloud technologies
- Strong understanding and experience with VMware technologies, including VMC
- Hands-on skills with AWS services, architectures, and best practices for cloud deployment
- Proven ability to design hybrid cloud architectures integrating with AWS and on-premises environments
- Solid foundation in networking principles and proficiency in hybrid cloud networking
- Understanding of cloud networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, VMware Certified Professional (Nutanix Certified Professional a plus)
