Our client is a leading worldwide logistics company, specialising in multi-modal freight forwarding and providing top-tier customer service around the globe. They are currently seeking an Entry-Level Multi-Modal Freight Forwarder to join their dynamic Export Team.

Salary up to £25,000. Monday-Friday. No Hybrid. Benefits: 30 days per annum inclusive of bank holidays.

As an Entry-Level Freight Forwarder, you will work as part of a collaborative export team. You will be responsible for learning how to manage the full export process, from booking shipments to completing customs entries, ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced global logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities within the training plan:
  • Support the Export Team: Collaborate with colleagues to provide seamless service and manage export shipments.
  • Manage Shipments: Take ownership of new shipments, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Booking with Airlines: Coordinate airfreight bookings with airlines for the transportation of goods.
  • Customs Compliance: Complete export customs entries to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.
  • Collect Shipments: Handle collection arrangements for cargo, ensuring timely pickup and delivery.
  • Provide Quotations: Prepare and issue competitive quotations for customers, offering clear pricing for services.
  • HAWB and MAWB Management: Complete and manage House Air Waybill (HAWB) and Master Air Waybill (MAWB) documentation.
  • Joint Email Box Management: Respond to customer queries and ensure smooth communication via shared email inbox.
  • Assist Supervisor: Provide general support to the Export Supervisor, ensuring efficient department operations.
