This is a great opportunity for an Armature / Motor Winder to join a long established and successful multi-branch Electro-Mechanical engineering business specialising in electrical & mechanical fault-finding and repair. With highly skilled electrical, machining & repair shops in-house, they are able to provide a complete turnkey repair & maintenance service on a wide range of rotating equipment. Based in Liverpool, duties include the overhaul, rewinding and / or general repair of electric motors and other types of rotating equipment and includes the inspection and repair of units on site. Essentials: – Dismantle and assemble motors and other rotating equipment. – Repair and / or rewind AC and DC motors for a wide range of types and sizes up to 1MW – Attend site to test and analyse motors and generators in use, using standard industry equipment Hours of work are 40 hours Mon- Fri, (and a Saturday one week in four), with occasional overtime or weekend work during exceptionally busy periods. The role comes with a very competitive day shift rate circa £18 – £20 per hour, together with bonus, company pension, 4 weeks holiday + bank holidays.
