Package: £50,000 - £55,000 plus 1% commission uncapped, realistic year 1 OTE £65,000, car allowance, 10% employer pension contribution, 25 days holiday plus bank holiday, private medical insurance, 4x life assurance.

The Company: Our client is an established multinational manufacturer with a strong global presence, selling in over 100 countries and employing more than 100 people in the UK. Their diverse product range caters to a variety of foodservice establishments, including QSRs, pubs, restaurants, hotels, and cafés.

The Role: As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth within the Professional Hotel Equipment division. Your mission will involve implementing the annual action plan aligned with the company’s commercial strategy and achieving ambitious sales targets. You will prospect new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing indirect accounts, key dealers, and stakeholders in the hotel and restaurant industry (HORECA sector). This dynamic, hands-on role will involve coordinating pre-sales and after-sales activities, implementing brand strategies, and participating in professional events and marketing initiatives at a European level. You will be responsible for managing the entire lead generation process from initial contact to closing deals. Close collaboration with senior management, marketing, product, and operations teams will also be key to aligning efforts and achieving the broader strategic business goals.

The Person: To excel in this role, we are seeking a passionate, self-motivated professional with a proactive mindset and a strong focus on results. Candidates must have a proven ability to demonstrate managing large B2B accounts and building robust relationships at all levels, including engaging in C-level negotiations. Prior experience in the HORECA industry is a must. Ideally, this would be selling tableware into end users and managing wholesalers. We would also consider candidates from a foodservice background and it would be advantageous if you have experience selling non-food goods, whether in wholesale or manufacturing, catering consumables, food manufacturing or wholesale, or catering equipment (both heavy and light).
