The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.

You will provide system support for budget development, projections and forecast updates, month-end close activities, and administrative and project activities related to finance business processes and technology systems. You will report to the Senior Manager - Finance Technology. This role is remote-friendly.

You Will:

  • Provide system support for budgeting and planning activities including uploading and extracting data, configuring the system to support reporting and troubleshooting errors with IT partners when errors occur.
  • Make suggestions and recommendations for system optimizations and enhancements.
  • Develop and distribute financial reports across multiple financial systems that address the needs of business owners.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of our financial systems, ensuring they are optimised to meet our goals.
  • Seek opportunities to enhance workflow, increase efficiency, and improve existing processes.
  • Oversee the backlog of finance-related IT tickets, ensuring tracking, resolution, and optimization of all issues.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the efficient progression of tickets and promptly address any technical challenges that arise.
  • Help communication between partners, vendors, and the technology team to ensure seamless operation and integration of financial platforms.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities in financial system processes and reporting tools to enhance overall operational efficiency.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in finance operations, with knowledge of core finance workflows, regulatory requirements, and operational best practices.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting projects, including providing requirements, reviewing solutions, testing, documentation, and training.
  • Experience with financial reporting tools, data analytics, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Background in financial systems administration, such as ERP, EPM, and reporting tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
