Robertson Recruitment are looking for an electrical engineer to join our manufacturing company on a permanent basis. You must have at least 3 years experience of working in a similar background. If you have maintained automated machines previously this would be advantageous.

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday 6am - 3pm
  • Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm
  • Alternating shifts. Please be aware you will have to do one Saturday a month, 6am - 12pm.

Duties:

  • Carrying out maintenance tasks on fully automatic packing machines.
  • Understanding the scope and safety issues relating to allocated work.
  • Manage & maintain all electrical jobs/maintenance.
  • Scheduling work and ordering parts within maintenance budget.
  • Carrying out defined work in accordance with DSMs SHEQ requirements.
  • Recording relevant job history.
  • Entering an accurate time recording for the job.
  • Completing all relevant paperwork.

Skillset:

  • Time served electrical tradesman / engineer.
  • Technical competence in electrical field.
  • Fault finding / problem solving skills.
  • Good communication and team player.
  • Engineering degree would be advantageous.
