A growing business that is heavily investing in its Data and Information Security is seeking a Data Governance Analyst / Data Protection Analyst to enhance its security and compliance framework. As the company continues to expand, strengthening its Data Security and GDPR capabilities has become a key priority. This role will play a vital part in ensuring data governance, protection, and regulatory compliance within the IT security team.
About You
We are looking for someone with commercial experience in Data Security, Data Protection, and Data Risk or a similar field. Candidates with 2+ years of relevant experience are preferred, though junior applicants will be considered at the appropriate salary level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on involvement in data compliance and protection tasks
- Acting as the primary point of contact for data incidents and breaches
- Implementing data privacy best practices across both technical and non-technical teams
