Objective of the role: We are seeking a dedicated Researcher/Analyst to join our cardiovascular, renal and metabolic (CVRM) team at Airfinity. This pivotal role involves generating scientific and commercial intelligence for our clients across the CVRM space, with a focus on obesity. The successful candidate will carry out in-depth research and analysis across various CVRM areas, maintain and enhance proprietary platforms to ensure accuracy and usability, in addition to creating comprehensive intelligence reports and forecasts to further our CVRM offerings. You will have opportunities to engage directly with clients leading the CVRM space, supporting on translating complex datasets into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior team members to produce detailed intelligence reports across the CVRM space for clients.
  • Develop expertise in CVRM, epidemiology, and associated interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients as a CVRM expert.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis on emerging scientific developments in various CVRM areas.
  • Annotate and enhance scientific information with critical data points and impact metrics.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to present analyses clearly and effectively.

  • Gain proficiency with our proprietary life science database.
  • Monitor and track candidate and CVRM landscapes.
  • Perform bespoke research tasks in specific scientific areas with confidence and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in a scientific field focusing on CVRM or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise and a strong interest in scientific research and CVRM, with advantageous having had a focus across obesity.
  • Comfortable using, or willing to learn, AI tools to enhance research workflows and insight generation.
  • Experience in data visualisation and storytelling, including building dashboards and reports.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with R, SQL, Python, or equivalent tools is beneficial.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality outputs efficiently.
