In this position, you will assist in expanding their operations across the UK by securing customers for energy efficiency programmes, heat decarbonisation projects, and Public Sector Decarbonisation Schemes. The ideal candidate will have proven success within a sales-based position and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with varied stakeholders. It would be advantageous if you had experience in energy efficiency/M&E projects, the Public Sector/NHS, or the decarbonisation market. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced BDM to be a vital cog in the wheel and drive growth within a company that can offer a long-term career with training and development opportunities.

The Role:

  • Business Development Manager
  • Inheriting an existing pipeline of work
  • Develop a network of repeat clientele
  • Lead proposals and tender strategies for new accounts
  • Manage a pipeline of new and developed accounts with regular updates to senior management

  • Proven success in a sales-based position
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in bid writing and high-quality written communications
  • Verbal, written, and numerical skills
  • Experience in Energy Efficiency/M&E/Public Sector/NHS/Decarbonisation (desirable)
