Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a passionate Embedded Software Engineer with a hands-on approach to engineering. This role offers the opportunity to expand into electronics and mechanical engineering with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Embedded Software Development – Writing, testing & debugging software for scientific instrumentation & data recorders.
- Electronics & PCB Design – Designing circuits, selecting components, and developing embedded systems.
- Software Tools & Analytics – Developing in-house solutions for testing & manufacturing.
- Customer Support Assistance – Helping resolve software-related issues.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems (Arduino, ARM, Raspberry Pi)
- Understanding of electronic circuit design & schematics
- Strong mathematical & analytical skills
- Enthusiasm for engineering & personal projects
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with embedded C/C++ and Qt development (Windows & Linux)
- Knowledge of industrial control, database management, or mechanical systems
- Experience in low-power analogue & digital electronic design
