Southwark Council are currently recruiting an Interim Head of Statutory Compliance. Inside IR35.
The ideal candidate would have:
- A knowledgeable technical understanding of Statutory Compliance; preferably with a qualified engineering background and CIBSE membership.
- Experience of managing staff, consultants, and contractors, delivering compliance assessments and remedial works.
- Experience of managing a large scale programme of activity with professional project management techniques.
- A demonstrated ability to track and formally report risks and progress against programme improvement targets.
- The ability to work professionally within a collaborative team culture with colleagues dealing with complex facilities challenges.
Purpose of the role:
To deliver assurance that LBS demonstrably meets its Statutory Compliance obligations within a defined estate of properties. To develop robust and reliable systems and processes to define what assurance is required, audit current status, keep compliance document records, undertake appropriate maintenance and engineering remedial works, and report assurance to senior management.
