Are you an operationally focused HR BP who enjoys the pace and complexity of the blue chip world and is keen to be part of a highly commercial HR team? Do you love working onsite with your stakeholders and being present to collaborate and challenge in person?

I am recruiting for a large organisation looking for a HR BP to join their matrix HR team. This business has some incredibly impressive tenure across the HR function and you will be working in a team of highly respected, first-class, commercial HR experts. This role will be part of a well-established network of HR BPs that work on building trusted relationships with their stakeholders and influencing and coaching on people issues.

The role will be 70% ER and operational HR support, and 30% proactive work on partnering your stakeholders and launching various HR initiatives. You will look after a host of initiatives such as Wellbeing, Engagement, Talent and Succession, and Performance and Development, using key people metrics and data to shape your projects! This is a very data-centric business so you must be able to utilise data efficiently.

Your role will be to partner stakeholders on a variety of people topics and help analyse trends to identify key areas to focus on and put localised strategies in place to help with the overall retention, engagement and commercial success of your business units.

So, what’s the role?

  • Leading on employee relations cases across your business units
  • Travel to other London office 2-3 times per month
  • Partnering stakeholders on key people challenges and analysing any trends across people metrics to identify areas of improvement and put a plan in place to overcome
  • Launch HR initiatives in your region on Wellbeing, Engagement, Talent & Succession and Performance and Development
  • Support stakeholders on talent and succession planning, identifying business critical roles and high performing/potential talent that could be developed into them
  • Support c800 employees across the product team
  • Influence and coach senior stakeholders across your region
  • Work in a highly commercial HR function, making decisions with both the success of the business and people in mind

The successful candidate will ideally have experience supporting corporate function teams for a retail organisation.
