Quality Control Administrator

Job Description:

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for maintaining accurate records and supporting quality processes? We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Administrator to provide essential support to our Design & Development & Manufacturing department. Role Overview:

As a Quality Control Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining quality control documentation, coordinating audits, and providing general administrative support to the Design & Development team. You will be a key player in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our quality control processes.

Salary range: £22,000 to £25,000

Responsibilities:

Documentation Management:

• Maintain accurate and organized quality control records, including inspection reports, test results, and audit documentation.
• Manage the document control system, ensuring version control and proper distribution.
• Create and update quality control forms and templates.

Data Entry and Reporting:

• Accurately input quality control data into relevant databases and systems.
• Generate reports on quality metrics and performance indicators.
• Assist in preparing presentations and reports for management.

Audit Support:

• Coordinate internal and external audits, including scheduling and document preparation.
• Assist auditors during audits and track corrective actions.
• Maintain the calibration schedule for equipment.

Administrative Support:

• Provide general administrative support to the Design & Development department, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
• Manage office supplies and equipment.
• Assist with training material creation.
• Serve as a point of contact for quality related questions.

Compliance:

• Ensure all activities adhere to company policies and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a quality control or manufacturing environment.
• Experience liaising with overseas suppliers (China & India etc) desirable.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable experience with a Quality Management System(QMS).

Education: Bachelor\’s (preferred)

Location (Sheffield in-person): Applicants must be located within a 30-minute drive of Sheffield or be prepared to relocate to the area. Developing an in-depth knowledge of our product range and having a close working with the Design & Development is essential to this role, therefore only applicants who can work in-person will be considered. Overseas applicants / those wishing to work fully remote will be rejected.
