Job Description

We are currently looking for a Grounds Maintenance and Street Cleansing Manager. You will be working in the Wokingham area.

Working Hours:
Monday – Friday
09:00am – 17:00pm

Contract Type:
Temp Contract – Ongoing

Day Rate:
£280.29 per day umbrella

Job Purpose

We are seeking a full-time Team Manager to oversee the operational management of some of the public realm facilities and contracts, including Parks and open spaces, Street Cleansing, and Cemeteries.

Main Duties

1. Manage six highly experienced team members.
2. Ensure the Health and Safety of our parks and open spaces is maintained in conjunction with our contractors.
3. Provide expert advice to Councillors and senior managers.
4. Undertake and progress existing projects in line with our Climate Emergency Action Plan.
5. Keep updated with current legislation and government changes.
6. Help train and coach colleagues on the team, including new colleagues and cross-training within the team, as well as attendance at relevant meetings.
