The Role
As a Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting the team with high-quality legal work. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a firm that offers exposure to complex matters and values individual contribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting a variety of corporate and commercial documents and agreements.
- Updating company books and statutory registers, including Companies House filings.
- Conducting legal research to address emerging issues.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as opening files, conducting client due diligence, and document preparation.
- Attending client and stakeholder meetings (remotely and in-person).
- Providing regular client updates and ensuring they are informed on matter progression.
- Liaising with external parties, including counsel and financial advisors.
- Managing data rooms and reviewing due diligence documentation.
- Supporting the team with billing and time recording.
What You’ll Need
- A strong academic background, with the LPC or an equivalent qualification (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative while also collaborating with the wider team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools (e.g., Practical Law, LexisNexis).
