Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of management accountants & monthly management pack, for review by the Board & other senior stakeholders in the business.
  • Preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow budgets and forecasts - both long term and short term, with actual performance measured against.
  • Managing the company’s cashflow & overseeing credit control.
  • Setting and monitoring CAPEX & project spend.
  • Setting and monitoring internal processes and controls.
  • Responsible for all statutory matters, such as VAT, Duty and PAYE.
  • Working with all stakeholders in the business to achieve operational efficiencies and hit targets.
  • Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team to help direct the company strategically.

Qualifications:

  • Part-qualified accountant (minimum), with experience in running a finance team.
  • Strong I.T proficiency in Excel.
  • Good interpersonal skills, and good business acumen with the ability to make commercial decisions.
  • Excellent communication, time management, troubleshooting, and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Experienced in using Xero software.

Salary and other compensation:

£50,000 plus depending on experience, plus company bonus.

Hours: Full time
