Responsibilities:
- Preparation of management accountants & monthly management pack, for review by the Board & other senior stakeholders in the business.
- Preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow budgets and forecasts - both long term and short term, with actual performance measured against.
- Managing the company’s cashflow & overseeing credit control.
- Setting and monitoring CAPEX & project spend.
- Setting and monitoring internal processes and controls.
- Responsible for all statutory matters, such as VAT, Duty and PAYE.
- Working with all stakeholders in the business to achieve operational efficiencies and hit targets.
- Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team to help direct the company strategically.
Qualifications:
- Part-qualified accountant (minimum), with experience in running a finance team.
- Strong I.T proficiency in Excel.
- Good interpersonal skills, and good business acumen with the ability to make commercial decisions.
- Excellent communication, time management, troubleshooting, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experienced in using Xero software.
Salary and other compensation:
£50,000 plus depending on experience, plus company bonus.
