Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to support our client on multiple projects within the defence sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-density electronic assemblies, focusing on the design and optimisation of thick-film hybrid circuits.
3 Month Contract - Outside IR35 - Remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Review customer schematics and provide design optimisations.
- Develop and manage complex layouts for thick-film hybrid circuits.
- Design multi-layered circuits with intricate component layouts and wire-bonding techniques.
- Ensure manufacturability by transforming customer specifications into functional layouts.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in designing and managing complex layouts with 300+ components.
- Strong track record of working with multi-layered designs (3-4 functional layers with 15+ print layers).
- Proficiency in Altium CAD software.
- Ability to interpret and translate customer specifications into production-ready designs.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with non-traditional PCB substrates.
Due to the nature of the project, Security Clearance will be required.
