Mergers and Acquisitions Associate – Generalist M&A

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth analyses of cash flows, quality of earnings, net debt and working capital
• Manage client relationships, lead Q&A sessions, and develop detailed data books for due diligence reports
• Oversee client engagements, aligning work scope with client vision, while meeting tight deadlines
• Assisting team seniors on executing transactions, including transaction structuring, process management and driving deal execution
• Involved in all deal aspects, from origination to completion, including drafting IM\’s, preparing pitch presentations, holding the pen on modelling and supporting senior management throughout the M&A process

Candidate Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions
• Strong financial modelling skills and advanced Excel proficiency
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage complexity and juggle priorities across multiple parallel work-streams
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
• Strategic creative thinking to effectively resolve problems
• Analytically minded and quick to learn in high pressure environments
• Confident and highly motivated to excel in the workplace
• Very strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
