An exciting opportunity has arisen with this successful multi-disciplinary construction business. They are seeking an analytical, adaptable, and versatile individual to join them to provide extensive support to the Director.
An overview of the role:
- Responsible for the management, resourcing, and delivery of Asbestos Removal Services, including accountability for delivery on time and on budget.
- Responsible for the smooth implementation of projects to secure the health and safety of individuals impacted by the work.
- The Asbestos Operations Manager is a key role to ensure a 'turn-key' service offering through co-operation, communication, and co-ordination with departmental managers.
- Additionally, the Asbestos Contracts Manager is to ensure, through co-operation, planning, and execution, a 'best in class' service.
Duties will include:
- Work closely with the Asbestos Director on one particular highly valued client's site.
- Plan, manage, co-ordinate, and monitor resource levels to meet demand.
- Plan, write, and implement a plan of work and Risk Assessments.
- Provide suitable information to ensure the health & safety of all parties pertaining to scoped works.
- Assist with the maintenance of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001.
- Assist with the maintenance of memberships (i.e. Safe contractor, ACAD, etc.).
- Assist with the maintenance and retention of the company's HSE Licence (ASB1).
- Plan, prepare, and deliver presentations.
- Ensure all tasks are scheduled/completed to meet the clients' KPIs as required.
- Ensure purchase orders are raised in a timely manner.
- Carry out the roles and responsibilities of the Site Supervisor for short-term/relief periods as and when required.
