Machine Mechanical Engineer/ Fitter / Technician Due to continued investment, our client a successful food manufacture are seeking a Mechanical Engineer/ Fitter. You will be responsible for all reactive and planned (PPM) maintenance within a busy food manufacturing site, supporting hygiene and engineering teams. Role * Complete all Tasks to the highest standard ensuring, quality, safety and hygiene standards are met. * Work as part of a team, to meet key deadlines and kpi's * Removal of machinery components * Inspect and check all parts whilst covers are removed and report any damage or failed parts (bearings corroded/seized, guides worn/damaged, any damage to machinery, etc). Skills * A basic knowledge of mechanical engineering covering greasing and basic maintenance * Ability to spot faults and or damage to machinery. * Experience of working in a fast-moving FMCG / Food Manufacturing industry. * Team player * Good English skills written and spoken * Experience in a fast paced production / manufacturing environment * CI Mindset to make a difference * Strong focus on health and safety Role * Competitive salary * Sunday – Thursday * Nights- 10pm-7am * Overtime x1.5 * Pension * Geninue career development and progression Mach is acting as an agent for this vacancy…
