Field Sales Manager Home furnishings Location : Area covering North London, Essex & Suffolk c. £50k plus uncapped commission, bonus Company car The opportunity: Due to phenomenal growth this year, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a driven, resilient, and experienced ‘Field Sales Manager’ to join a family owned, visionary business specialising in the home furnishings sector. The purpose of the role is to grow the sales in the territory with existing and new customers. The ideal candidate will be a field sales manager with a ‘hunter’ mentality, who has excellent organisational and time management skills and is adept at managing many accounts and presenting to customers. What will my accountabilities be? Increasing sales for designated territory through the generation of new business by proactively targeting new customers and developing relationships with existing customers by providing the highest standard of customer service. Promoting and selling company’s product range and services throughout the designated territory. Periodically visiting customers to actively promote new products and explain pricing and product models tailored to the customer’s needs. Provide technical support to customers on the product range. Provide training to customers on the direct impact selling points of all products to persuade customer loyalty to the business. Who will I be working with? National Sales Manager, marketing and production team and customers A great candidate will have: Minimum of 3 years’ recent, relevant field experience of direct selling to trade customers. Must have experience of B2B, multiple product / brand sales – ideally from the following sectors – tiles, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms, window coverings Experience of dealing with large number of customers (300+) generating revenue of minimum £500k per month Full, clean current driving licence Ambitious, self-motivated and target driven individual, eager to generate new business and sustain growth for the organization. Highly customer focused with a proven ability to build and sustain effective long-term customer relationships. Greater communication skills and ability to present to customers Ability to work autonomously and to travel throughout the territory.
