Location: Plymouth About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our team in delivering critical infrastructure projects, including Dockside Rigs and Dock Bottom Village. You will be responsible for managing engineering and technical aspects throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all operations are delivered to scope, quality, schedule, and budget requirements. This role involves overseeing the design documentation, applying rigorous quality management standards, and ensuring all processes are thoroughly documented and compliant with business and technical manuals. Key Responsibilities Support the project team to deliver infrastructure projects within defined parameters. Manage technical and engineering aspects from project inception to handover. Ensure design documentation aligns with project requirements, standards, and budgets. Maintain thorough records and apply configuration and quality controls. Operate in compliance with Quality Management Arrangements and relevant regulations. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Demonstrated expertise in engineering practices for managing complex design developments. Experience in capital equipment, mechanical handling systems, and heavy industry processes. Knowledge of steel/aluminium handling, maritime defence, and oil/gas/subsea industries. Strong project specification, planning, and budgeting skills for design, construction, and operation. Substantiation of process equipment for Nuclear Safety Functions. Technical Proficiency: NEC 4 ECC and PSC contracts (Options A, C & E). CEMAR (desirable). Proficiency in engineering office applications and MS Office Suite (essential). BIM (desirable). Regulatory Knowledge: Capable of working within the requirements of CDM 2015 regulations. Eligibility for Security Clearance (SC). Qualifications Degree, degree apprenticeship, or demonstrable experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
