Hybrid working - South East/Hampshire and International travel.

We seek a talented Head of Procurement with significant high volume manufacturing experience who can bring procurement best practice and excellence to our client. As the senior procurement leader in the business, you’ll ensure the supply chain is robust, efficient and sustainable, delivering value for both the company and its customers.

We require someone who not only knows what great looks like in terms of procurement but who can also lead a team through a change management process – from being transactional to achieving procurement excellence through category management. You’ll work with the MD to align the procurement strategy with the overall business strategy, consolidate and reshape the supplier base, and build a high performing team.

The business operates in the consumer products space and procurement spend is approx. £100m per annum. You’ll lead a team of circa 20 colleagues. We seek people with experience within a similar sized manufacturing operation and from a products based production business, whether that be FMCG, food, drink or high volume manufacturing.

You’ll be an experienced procurement leader, used to leading teams and with a track record of success – you’ll enjoy the challenge of driving change and be well versed in switching from being strategic to rolling up your sleeves and being hands on to deliver results.
