Job Title: Workday Certified SME on Workday Financials and Workday Adaptive Planning
Job Location: London, UK
Job Type: Permanent/Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Provide post-production support and enhancement services in multiple areas of Workday Financials and serve as the subject matter expert to assist team members and clients.
- Participate in advisory, planning, and implementation of additional Workday Financial modules by documenting requirements, mapping processes, and implementing best-practice configuration.
- Manage client relationships and resolve support requests, including operational issues, implementations, enhancements, release planning, and strategic road mapping.
- Lead sessions with clients and team members to analyze and scope complex business requirements.
- Collaborate with the delivery team on daily activities, incidents, root cause analysis, and work requests.
- Prioritize and delegate requests based on urgency, scope, complexity, and team availability.
- Research and resolve complex client requests, providing guidance and collaboration.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables by sharing Workday best practices.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing expertise and recommendations.
- Proactively listen to client needs to exceed expectations.
- Foster internal relationships, share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and contribute as a leader.
- Perform or delegate additional duties as needed, including internal projects.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of core Workday competencies (business process, reporting, security) and deep expertise in Workday Financials functional areas.
- Experience with implementing/supporting Workday modules related to Accounting, Banking & Settlements, Budgets, Expenses, Projects, and Cash Management.
- 5+ years of recent Workday Financials implementation/support experience.
- Proven experience in Workday Financials deployments and operational support.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Passionate about knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Effective collaboration skills, fostering confidence and trust.
- Strong problem-solving skills, considering diverse perspectives.
