Consultant (equivalent to Senior Account Manager)

Salary: £35,000 – 45,000 per annum depending on experience plus perks and benefits

Reports into: Senior Consultant / Associate Director

Seniority Level: Mid-level

Contract type: Permanent subject to probation

Location: Hybrid set-up between central London office and working from home

Qualifications & experience:

  • At least four years of experience working in or with UK Parliament, political communications and public affairs
  • Knowledge of UK political and international institutions, policy-making processes, and key political stakeholders
  • Experience devising and delivering creative campaigns that gain media and political cut-through
  • Strong project management expertise and an ability to drive multiple teams and clients to deliver timely results
  • A strong understanding of leading media debates across politics and/or wider social change movements, either in international development and/or the UK
  • Fluency in English and strong writing skills, particularly the ability to condense complex ideas with precision and impact
  • Experience in managing, mentoring and upskilling junior team members
  • Proficiency in languages additional to English
  • Experience in climate, energy, food, gender or health is desirable

The role will require:

  • Building relationships with policymakers, government officials, and political advisors
  • Advising clients on navigating UK and international political developments
  • Managing events, including political roundtables, briefings, and conferences
  • Monitoring political trends, elections, and policy debates to inform strategy
  • Delivering and overseeing content production, including messaging, press releases and social media posts
  • Offering strategic counsel and innovative ideas to both the team and clients, enhancing project outcomes and media impact
  • Ensure project profitability through excellent time management, budget awareness, and resource allocation
  • Contributing to business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing pitches, and representing the brand as an external ambassador
