The SEO Content Manager will be responsible for driving organic growth across our consumer brands (PCWorld, Macworld, Tech Advisor, TechHive and their international cousins) by optimizing editorial content for search engines. You will collaborate closely with editors, writers, and the broader content team to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into the content creation process, while maintaining editorial quality and relevance. This role is focused on content-driven SEO rather than technical SEO, making it perfect for someone passionate about shaping content strategies and increasing visibility through well-optimized articles, guides, and reviews.

In your position, you will get the opportunity to:
- Develop and implement content-driven SEO strategies to increase organic search traffic for our digital brands.
- Conduct keyword research and identify content opportunities, trends, and gaps to guide the editorial team.
- Collaborate with editors and content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated throughout the content production process.
- Provide SEO recommendations for new content development, including optimizing headlines, meta descriptions, and content structure to improve search rankings and CTR.
- Provide SEO recommendations for updating and refreshing existing content to ensure it remains competitive in search rankings and aligned with current SEO trends.
- Conduct regular content audits to identify opportunities for improving content performance and driving organic traffic growth.
- Monitor content performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party SEO platforms.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on performance data to continuously improve organic search traffic and engagement.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify SEO content strategies used by competitors and adapt them to enhance our own content.
- Work with the affiliate and commerce teams to ensure that SEO-optimized content aligns with revenue generation strategies.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in content SEO, ideally within digital publishing or the consumer technology space.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English is a must, additional languages are an advantage.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing content SEO strategies that drive organic growth.
- Strong experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz, specifically for keyword research and content performance analysis.
- Proven ability to collaborate with editorial teams to produce SEO-friendly content without compromising editorial integrity.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS), especially WordPress or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and departments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data and make data-driven content recommendations.
- A passion for consumer technology and staying informed on the latest industry trends.
