We are currently recruiting for a Senior Commercial Underwriter to join our established and experienced Underwriting team at RSA on a hybrid basis.
Your Role
This role involves working with selected brokers to optimise profitable growth. You will apply a range of underwriting, relationship management, and business development techniques to achieve this growth. This applies to a range of new and existing cases within our agreed process and underwriting appetite.
You will spend most of your time working with brokers, identifying, discussing, negotiating, and converting/renewing business opportunities, making effective underwriting decisions. The role includes underwriting Commercial Property, Package, and Liability business.
About You
You will require extensive experience in Commercial Property, Package, or Liability Underwriting, from either a New Business or Existing Business perspective.
You should be able to build relationships with insurance brokers and write profitable business to ensure account growth.
