Ranson Barnes Recruitment is proud to be working with a quality centric, employee focussed Sheffield based manufacturer in the recruitment of a QHSE Manager.
This fantastic position has arisen due to the current QHSE Manager retiring. My client is looking for someone to really make this role their own by bringing enthusiasm, experience and a desire to review/implement new ways of working within Quality, Health, Safety and Environment within the business.
Duties to include but are not limited to
-
Manage the QMS and the compliance of ISO9001/ISO13485/ISO45001 accreditations.

Implement, review and update current all QHSE policies, processes, procedures and ensure all staff are aware of and trained within these.

Conduct quality audits, highlighting and recommending areas for improvement

Work closely with the Managing Director, Head of Customer Service and Head of Production to ensure any complaints and non conformities are resolved

Keeping abreast of new legislation and implementing where required.

Develop and implement H&S policies and procedures

Conduct risk assessments, audits and inspections.

Provide training on all QHSE matters company wide

Investigate accidents in order to identify root causes and take remedial action

Promote safe working initiatives

Control environmental permits and ensure compliance with waste regulations

Perform and monitor environmental impact audits and assessments

Develop sustainability initiatives to reduce carbon footprints, energy, waste and company environmental impact
You Will
-
Have demonstrable experience of working within a QHSE role ideally within Manufacturing and Engineering
-
Hold NEBOSH/IOSH Qualifications or be studying towards
-
Be committed to personal and company wide improvement and development
-
Possess fantastic communication and presentation skills

Be able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
