Key Responsibilities

Private Family Law:

• Advising clients on matters such as divorce, separation, cohabitation agreements, and prenuptial agreements.
• Managing cases involving financial settlements, property disputes, and child arrangements.
• Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Drafting and reviewing legal documentation, including consent orders and settlement agreements.
• Providing guidance on alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation or collaborative law.

Public Family Law:

• Advising and representing clients in child protection cases, including care proceedings initiated by local authorities.
• Handling cases involving adoption, special guardianship orders, and fostering arrangements.
• Working with vulnerable clients, including parents and guardians, ensuring their rights are protected.
• Liaising with social workers, courts, and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Keeping abreast of developments in public family law and relevant policies to offer accurate and up-to-date advice.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 year PQE
• Strong experience in both private and public family law.
• Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload.
